For Higher Education Institutions
Being present in higher education in developing countries, SWIB is aware that alternative financial schemes should be made available to attract larger numbers of students from Higher Education Institutions (HEI).
We are ready to establish operational partnerships with HEIs in a large number of countries to cooperate in the development of tailor-made programmes for their students.
SWIB can offer several formats of cooperation with HEIs for tailor-made programmes:
Integration of an online SWIB short course module
in the HEIs study programme to give additional professional skills.
The students will obtain a certificate of completion of the module.
Intensive off-line Summer School programme in Switzerland
with a validation of up to 3 professional modules according to the duration of stay.
Complementary online study programmes
at SWIB leading to a SWIB professional diploma.
These programmes are organised in parallel with the local HEI curriculum.
The contents of each complementary programme can vary to according to the previous knowledge of students in the programme field.
- Complementary programme for students from corresponding faculties (example : a complementary programme in Entrepreneurship for students from Business Administration) = more specific programme
- Complementary programme for students from other faculties = more basic programme
The supplementary guided learning time for the students in all programmes will be about 4 hours per week.
The complementary study programmes can have a total duration of 3 or 4 years. In the programmes lasting over 4 years the first year will be dedicated to the improvement of the students’ level in general, academic and business English.
Double bachelor diploma
through a fully integrated programme for students in business administration and international relations.
The Swiss International Business School can establish, together with its partner HEI, double diploma programmes where students will obtain one of the SWIB Bachelor’s degrees (see undergraduate courses). This implies a recognition process by SWIB of the modules and credits the students follow in their local curriculum.
